| Torn asunder in recent years by political turmoil, the city of Telina has recently come under control of a shadowy conglomerate of thieves, cutthroats, and other such unsavory types. Originally a duchy under vassalage to Kalis, a recent peasant revolt left hundreds in the city dead, and the local militia undermanned and nigh powerless to stop the underbelly of the city to rise up and take over. They are currently in negotiations with the King of Kalis to return the city to him, but talks have stalled as the guilds in charge have realized just how profitable it is to own an entire city.
